We don't start
with a trend.
We start with you.

Your wedding should not feel like a template. We translate your story, your references and your personality into one cohesive visual world — then we build it ourselves, on the ground, in the Riviera Maya.

What we do

Four things.
Done properly.

We are a creative event design house with its own rental collection — not a wedding planning company. We don't chase your vendors or run your timeline. We design what the day looks and feels like, grow and build the florals, supply the furniture from our own warehouse, and install it ourselves. We work alongside your planner and your venue — or directly with you if you don't have one.

Direction

Find your
wedding feeling.

Every celebration begins with an atmosphere. Choose the one that pulls at you — we'll take it from there.

iv
Translation

From Pinterest
to real life.

You bring the inspiration. We interpret it, refine it, and turn it into a complete environment — not a copy of the picture, but the feeling it gave you.

v
Scope

One vision.
Every detail.

Design, florals and rentals sit under one roof and one creative direction — so nothing arrives on the day looking like it came from somewhere else.

vi
Process

From idea
to “I do.”

We design the experience

Ceremony, tablescape, lounge, lighting and signage resolved as a single visual language, room by room.

Budget, honestly

Spend where
people will feel it.

Guests remember three things: how the room felt when they walked in, where they sat, and what the light was doing at ten at night. Most of a budget quietly leaks into things nobody registers. We will tell you which ones.

Worth the money

  • One large focal installation instead of five small ones spread thin.
  • Lighting. It changes every photograph taken after sunset and costs less than florals.
  • The dinner table — guests sit at it for three hours and photograph it from above.
  • Lounge furniture. It is where the party actually ends up.
  • The first thing guests see when they arrive. You only get one.

Usually not

  • Florals on surfaces nobody stands near — corners, back walls, behind the band.
  • Covering every table identically when two feature tables would carry the room.
  • Printed pieces that are read once and thrown away.
  • Buying decor you will use for six hours. Rent it and hand it back.
  • Ceremony florals left behind. We move ours to the reception the same afternoon.

How we decide

  • We start from your number, not from a package. There isn't one.
  • We map the day into moments and rank them by how many minutes guests spend inside each.
  • Anything that doesn't earn its place gets cut before you see the quote.
  • Owning the inventory means we can move money between design and rentals without a markup fight.
  • If a smaller number gets the same feeling, we say so.

Where we work

One coast.
Known by heart.

We work the stretch of coast between Cancún and Tulum, and we are on it every week. That means we know which beaches lose their shade at four, which palapas need their own lighting plan, and which venues will not let a truck in after six. If you are planning from another country, that knowledge is the part you cannot Google.

The person
behind the studio.

Weddings shouldn't follow a formula. The best designs start by understanding who a couple actually is — then we build a world around them.

Sara Garcia founded Style Me in the Riviera Maya and leads its creative direction. She trained in sustainable floristry with Susan McLeary, has taught event design at Universidad Anáhuac Cancún, and represented Mexico at PROWEP in Panamá in 2021. Her work has been published by Junebug Weddings, Wedding Chicks and The Knot.

Practical questions

The things
everyone asks.

Are you wedding planners?
No. Style Me is a design and rental house. We handle how the wedding looks and feels — concept, florals, furniture, lighting, styling and the install — and we do it alongside your planner, or directly with you if you don't have one. We do not manage your timeline, your guest list or your other vendors.
We already have a planner. Does that work?
It works well. Planners bring us in precisely because design and rentals come from the same team, which removes a whole layer of coordination for them. We take direction on logistics and lead on everything visual.
Can we rent furniture without booking design?
Yes. Rentals can be booked on their own — tables, chairs, lounges, bars, lighting, glassware and linens from our own warehouse. Send your date, venue and guest count and we will quote the pieces.
We are planning from the US or Canada and have never seen the venue.
That is most of our couples. Everything happens over video calls and shared boards, and you approve the visual direction before anything is committed. We are physically at your venue the week of the wedding, not arriving the day before.
Do you make the florals yourselves?
Yes. Our own team arranges everything in the Riviera Maya — installations, ceremony structures, tables and personal florals. Nothing is outsourced to a third studio.
What does it cost?
There is no package price. Every wedding is quoted from its own guest count, venue, scope and date, and we build to the number you give us. Tell us your budget honestly at the start — it makes the first proposal much closer to right.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a date and a venue. High season dates on this coast fill first, and design decisions get easier the more runway they have.
Do you work in English?
Yes — the team works in English and Spanish, which matters when your planner, your venue and your family don't share a language.
Where do you work?
The Riviera Maya and the Mexican Caribbean — Tulum, Playa del Carmen, Cancún, Puerto Aventuras, Akumal and Kanai. Ask us about anywhere else on this coast.

Behind the scenes

Watch us
build it.

Installs, load-ins, florals at six in the morning and the finished room at eight at night. Most of what we make never gets published — it lives here.

Let's design something that feels like you.

Send us your date, your venue and your guest count. We'll come back with a direction, not a brochure.
